A film photography book

I couldn't overthink each shot even if I wanted to which turned out to be exactly how you should shoot film anyway. Thirty-six frames, no way to check what you got.

I walked the streets and photographed what I saw. The camera gave me a reason to move. The film forced me to trust something beyond my own judgment - expose the frame and let it go. Shooting blind taught me to act first and question later, or not question at all.

After years of starting and abandoning things, I found something that stuck. Something I could actually finish and hold in my hands. This book is proof of that - not just photographs, but the fact that I made something meant to last.

These images came from a time when nothing felt permanent.
Now they are.
The film yielded this, and it stays.
